Manchester United continue to weigh up key moves in the transfer window, with the club actively assessing its midfield and attacking options.
Following the arrival of manager Ruben Amorim, United are expected to prioritise strengthening the spine of the team, focusing mainly on a new striker and central midfielder.
The future of Marcus Rashford remains unresolved, and with the club also considering outgoings such as Antony and Jadon Sancho, opportunities may arise to bring in new flair players.

However, Amorim is said to be cautious about disrupting the balance of United’s squad, particularly in positions where there is already depth.
Despite that, Manchester United are reportedly one of four Premier League clubs battling it out for Dutch wonderkid Xavi Simons, according to Sport Bild.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder enjoyed a standout campaign at RB Leipzig last season, scoring 11 goals and providing eight assists in 33 appearances across all competitions.
Highly versatile and technically gifted, Xavi Simons has attracted interest from Arsenal, Newcastle, Tottenham and United, as well as Barcelona — although the Spanish club are not expected to meet the steep valuation.
The report claims Simons’ brother, Faustino, has held talks with several top European clubs, with a €70 million fee being quoted for the Dutch international.

That figure is likely to prove challenging for many sides, especially with United still operating under financial constraints and focusing on priority areas such as striker and central midfield.
Sources close to United suggest that while Simons is admired within the club, he may not be a natural fit given Amorim’s tactical setup and the current composition of the squad.
Nevertheless, the club are keeping tabs on the situation in case an opportunity arises, particularly if departures create space and budget for a big attacking signing.
As things stand, it remains to be seen whether United will commit to a bidding war for a player who, while undeniably talented, may not be at the top of their summer wishlist.
