Manchester United are braced for a crucial summer of rebuilding, with Ruben Amorim expected to oversee a number of incomings and outgoings at Old Trafford.

Amorim’s three-at-the-back system will require real quality from the centre-backs.

Matthijs de Ligt has made a strong impression despite talks of clubs chasing his signature.

While Leny Yoro has shown signs of real potential, despite recently being mocked live by Thierry Henry.

At the same time, veteran defenders Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof are both expected to depart at the end of the season.

Wolves likely destination for Victor Lindelof

According to CaughtOffside, Wolves have made contact over a potential summer deal for Victor Lindelof.

Lindelof is understood to prefer staying in the Premier League, despite other interest from abroad.

The 30-year-old’s contract at Old Trafford is set to expire.

As previously reported, United have no plans to offer an extension.

Wolves are now believed to be leading the race for his signature.
