Viktor Gyokeres looks to be on his way to England, with his future looking increasingly likely in the Premier League once again.
However, Ruben Amorim looks to be missing out on his dream move, with the Sweden international is headed to the Emirates with him reaching a full agreement to join Arsenal earlier today.
Gyokeres has been at the centre of attention during this year’s summer transfer window with several Premier League clubs including Liverpool battling it out alongside the Red Devils to sign Gyokeres ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The Sweden international has had yet another impressive season with 39 goals in the Liga Portugal as Sporting CP lifted the league title.

Now, CNN Portugal have revealed the fee that Mikel Arteta’s side will pay to Sporting for the striker.
According to the Portuguese outlet, Arsenal will pay a fixed fee of £56 million for Gyokeres’ services.
It’s understood that Arsenal will also pay out between £8 million and £13 million in additional fees.
Gyokeres is already setting up to become Arteta’s first-choice striker as The Gunners have come runners up in the Premier League three years running.
Unfortunately, for the Red Devils, they will now have to turn their attention towards other targets to bring more quality and depth to the striker position.

Whilst top strikers like Hugo Ekitike, Ollie Watkins and Victor Osimhen have been linked to Old Trafford, a recent curveball has been Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Calvert-Lewin was recently released from Everton following the expiry of his contract, meaning he could be up for grabs as a free agent.
With a current focus on Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, no move has been made to secure Rasmus Hojlund’s replacement as the first-choice striker under Amorim.
