Manchester United are desperate for a new reliable striker to join The Red Devils as the club hast lost faith in first-choice Ramus Hojlund.
The Red Devils are searching Europe for a top striker to move to Old Trafford to boost their attack to bounce back next season.
Heading up their shortlist is Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap as proven Premier League striker despite the club getting relegated.
However it’s also been reported that United are also keeping tabs on Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres after the success Gyokeres had under Ruben Amorim in the Portuguese capital.

Ruben Amorim doesn’t want Viktor Gyokeres

Now, in a massive twist of events, Amorim has rejected a move for his former star, denying recent contact.
Fabrizio Romano has reported the comments, with Amorim saying to Sport TV Portugal: “Gyokeres deal? I didn’t talk to him. But if a player only wants to come to Man United to play Champions League, then he won’t come”.
He continued: “We want players who want to represent United, not players who want to play certain competitions”.
Amorim’s desire to sign stars who want to move to Old Trafford for the club is shown by his pursuit of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Matheus Cunha.
The Wolves striker has had a fantastic season and is looking to move to United irrelevant of whether they get European football next season.
The Portuguese manager is determined to rebuild his squad with stars who want to rebuild the squad with him, with the passion of the squad hopefully returning the club to its former glory.
