Victor Osimhen is all set for a move away from Napoli this summer, with the move being on the cards for some time now.
Last summer saw the talented striker go out on loan to Galatasaray, with Antonio Conte not seeing the Nigeria international as a part of his long-term plans.
Ultimately it worked out well, Conte won Serie A with Napoli, Osimhen won the Super Lig with Galatasaray.
However, with Conte comping without the 26-year-old heading up his squad, there were no plans for Osimhen to re-integrate with the Italian squad after his loan ended.

As such, Napoli have been looking for a new home for the £65 million striker, with Manchester United routinely linked to sign Victor Osimhen in a bid to solve their issues up front.
That said, Galatasaray appear to be front-runners, determined to retain their star striker, with Osimhen informing Napoli he wants to make his temporary move to Turkey permanent.
Unfortunately for Osimhen, the first set of club-to-club negotiations have failed, with talks still ongoing to agree on the terms for a move.

Now, Manchester Evening News has reported that Victor Osimhen has refused to return to pre-season training with Napoli, in a bid to force the conversations to come to a successful conclusion.
It’s been reported that Osimhen has informed Napoli he has no intention of reporting for training under Conte, and has even refused to undergo medical assessments with the club.
As such, it’s no surprise that the Nigeria international has said he’ll never be wearing a Napoli shirt ever again.
He’s not the only want-away to make a move like this, with Viktor Gyokeres doing very similar to try and force his move from Sporting CP as Arsenal grow ever closer to securing his future.
