Manchester United’s Europa League campaign continues to shape their transfer plans, with Ruben Amorim keen to bolster his wide attacking options heading into the summer window.
The Red Devils remain linked with a host of exciting young talent across Europe, including Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo.
However, United’s eyes appear to have turned to the Championship, with one teenage prospect drawing serious interest following a breakout campaign.
With the Europa League semi-final looming, Amorim’s squad rotation and lack of attacking depth remain concerns, especially with the inconsistent form of several key players.
The club is expected to prioritise future stars who can develop under the Portuguese coach’s style, rather than splashing out on short-term fixes.
And that may lead them to the south coast, where 19-year-old Tyler Dibling has become one of the few bright sparks in a dismal Southampton season.
Despite Saints’ relegation from the Premier League, Dibling’s pace, directness, and ability to create moments out of nothing have caught the attention of Old Trafford scouts.
Reports suggest United could step up their interest in the winger if they qualify for the Champions League by winning the Europa League, but Southampton are said to have slapped a £100million valuation on his head.
However, with the club’s relegation now confirmed, the asking price has dropped to around £60 million, a figure that has sent ripples through the footballing world, including at Manchester United, as reported by Chronicle Live.

Tyler Dibling has his say on links to Manchester United

The buzz around his potential move hasn’t gone unnoticed in the dressing room either, with goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale – on loan at the Saints – cheekily mocking his price tag during training sessions.
“Rambo loves it,” said Dibling.
“I’ll miss a shot in training and he’ll just go: ‘£90million! £80million!’ as it keeps going down.
“It’s all good fun.”
Tyler Dibling admitted he’s trying to block out the noise and focus on finishing the season strong, adding, “At the end of the day, I love Southampton.
“I’ve been here since I was eight.”
“It is such a great team and I am working to do big things with them.”
“I don’t try to think about it and just try and go into train every day and work hard and train the best I can.”
His composure on and off the pitch has impressed United’s recruitment team, who see him as a long-term investment rather than a quick fix.
While nothing is confirmed yet, all eyes will be on Tyler Dibling as United weigh up whether to test Southampton’s resolve in the upcoming window.
