Manchester United are undergoing an important rebuild under Ruben Amorim this summer.
After a disappointing 15th place Premier League finish last season, Amorim is looking to a create a new look squad, capable of fulfilling the tactical and mental demands of being a United player.
This must involve both incomings and outgoings this summer.
With Matheus Cunha confirmed and Bryan Mbeumo set to join United, they are still actively looking for further additions for the squad.

David McDonnell, via the Mirror has reported two key positions United are planning to recruit for next.
After the completion of the Mbeumo deal, United will focus on signing a “creative midfielder” and a “proven goalscorer”.
United’s two first team strikers, Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, have lost the faith of Amorim last season, scoring a combined 7 league goals between them and struggling to make significant impacts.
Although United have been turned down by striker Hugo Ekitike, Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen, they are still linked with various other strikers across Europe.

For the midfield addition, United need a player with a number of key traits.
This player must be creative and able to find passes between the lines, able to link up with new number 10’s Cunha and Mbeumo.
However, they must also be athletic and able to cover the space needed playing in a two man midfield, a rare profile but one that would hugely improve the United team.
United will be hoping for a quick resolution to find these two positions, hoping to give Amorim enough time on the training ground with his new squad.
