Both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are using this summer transfer window as a chance to start over after terrible Premier League seasons.
Spurs finished the season in 17th position, two spots behind the relegation zone, while the Red Devils finished in 15th place.
It’s interesting to note that despite their poor Premier League season, the two teams faced off in the Europa League final.
Tottenham won 1-0, securing them a wildcard to the Champions League the following season.
They are now using the financial benefits to improve their squad.

Spurs’ newly appointed manager, Thomas Frank, has secured the signing of Mohammed Kudus for £55 million.
They are also pursuing a move for Nottingham Forest star man Morgan Gibbs-White.
And now they are setting their sights on a Manchester United target in the midfield.
As per Fabrizio Romano via X, Tottenham has genuine interest in Joao Palhinha, as an initial approach has been made with his camp.

Christian Eriksen recently left on a free transfer and is still looking for a club.
Casemiro is both ageing and has been linked with a move away, with several clubs interested in the Brazilian international.
With the signings of Kudus and potentially Gibbs-White secured, Palhinha could be a great coup for the North London club as they aim for a huge season next year.
With a move edging closer for Palhinha, Ruben Amorim’s side could be losing out on a key target.
