Antony has been at the centre of a transfer saga this summer as the winger looks to source a move away from Old Trafford.
The Brazilian, formerly of Ajax, joined the Red Devils in 2022 from the Dutch outfit.
Since joining the club, he has made 96 appearances and scored 12 goals across all competitions.
But, this summer, following a loan spell at Real Betis, the 25-year-old has been linked with a move back to Spain.
In recent days, this move looked likely with the Old Trafford outfit even accepting a bid from Betis for the Brazilian’s sale.
Now, following Antony posting an arguably cryptic Instagram story, the fee that the winger is demanding to leave United has been revealed.
According to the Athletic, Antony is seeking for both clubs to ensure that he secures the £3.46 million shortfall he will face as a result of taking a pay-cut to join Real Betis.
The publication have also revealed that Betis are currently not prepared to go any higher in their offer.
Furthermore, United are also reported to be eager to minimise their contribution to the deal.
Finally, the publication have stated that the Spanish outfit’s view is that the Red Devils must come to an agreement with them for the deal to proceed.
If a deal can not be reached, alternative options are being explored.
With this news revealed, attention will arguably turn towards the two clubs to try and reach an agreement.
If one can be reached, we may see Antony leave the club before the end of the transfer window.
However, if a deal can not be reached, Antony will be set to stay at Old Trafford this season.
