Manchester United fans continue to show frustration as the summer window rolls on with limited movement to support Ruben Amorim.

Despite excitement around the Portuguese manager’s arrival back in October, United have yet to truly back him in the market.

Matheus Cunha’s arrival from Wolves was a positive step.

However, the Red Devils have since struggled to get the deal done for Bryan Mbeumo at good pace.

Key gaps are still unaddressed in defence and midfield.

While the club did secure the signing of Patrick Dorgu to bolster the left wing-back slot last season, there’s growing recognition that further depth is required.

Even with Diego Leon’s recent addition.

Now, Ben Jacobs on X reports that United have initiated talks on the player side for Brighton full-back Pervis Estupinan.

AC Milan also hold a genuine interest in the Ecuador international.

Although no formal bid has been submitted, Brighton are open to selling after recently signing Maxim De Cuyper to reinforce their full-back options.

Should a deal be completed, it could spell the end for Luke Shaw at the club.

Especially with United viewing Estupinan as a dynamic presence suited to Amorim’s system.

However, the England international might still have a role as a left centre-back when fit.

Although injuries have plagued him in recent seasons.

Estupinan’s arrival however, would bring a different spark down the left flank.

Premier League experience, as well as excelling for Brighton, a team that improve technically gifted players.
