Real Betis have emerged as serious contenders and are pushing to secure a deal for the 24-year-old.
Their initial interest in Antony was reported on CentreDevils, back in December.
According to Spanish outlet Al Final De La Palmera, Betis have ‘intensified’ their efforts in a bid to get closer to an acceptable deal.
Manchester United may need to subsidise Antony’s wages to facilitate his departure this month.
There is still a gap in valuation between United and Betis, but possibilities in the deal happening is growing.
Betis are optimistic about completing the deal, with Antony also keen on joining the La Liga side.
Ben Jacobs on X also reported of Betis’ intent in ‘actively pursuing’ the deal.
