Manchester United are set to lose Rasmus Hojlund to injury for roughly six weeks.
While a disappointment for Hojlund, it will open a door for another striker.
The likes of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Joshua Zirkzee will look to see if they can step into that space.
But an incoming Manchester United striker could also be in contention.
It’s one that has been rumoured for a short while, but was confirmed by Sky Sports three days ago that Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Chido Obi-Martin.
The deal moved really quickly and now the wonderkid has arrived in Manchester to undergo his medical today, according to Dharmesh Sheth of Sky Sports.
The TV station report that the Denmark youth international turned down more lucrative offers from Germany to join United.
It seems that United will be able to call upon another striker to carry the burden and challenge the current strikers at the club.
Chido Obi-Martin in Manchester ahead of medical with United. Terms agreed with the player after he left Arsenal. Obi-Martin chose United ahead of staying with Arsenal or moving to Germany. It’s understood the offers from German clubs were superior to United’s terms. #MUFC
