As transfer deadline day approaches, the excitement of the transfer window intensifies with more twists and turns before the market closes, with Chelsea at eh centre of a lot of Manchester United’s attention.
United are still actively working to secure a departure for Jadon Sancho.
Initially, Paris Saint-Germain were desperate to sign the winger as a replacement to Kylian Mbappe, however pulled out, paving the way for Juventus. Whilst Juve appeared to be in pole position to sign the winger, they have since withdrawn from the deal, leaving Chelsea as the only club still in the race to acquire Sancho.

According to the latest reports from Sky Sports, Manchester United are now exploring the possibility of signing Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka in a separate deal.
United have been in discussions with Chelsea for some time regarding Jadon Sancho, and during these talks, the London club proposed a swap deal.
The proposed deal would have seen Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling move to Old Trafford in exchange for Sancho.
However, Manchester United quickly declined this proposal, as they do not highly rate those players and are more interested in receiving a financial package rather than engaging in a swap deal.
Now, it appears that while in discussions with Chelsea for Sancho, United have proposed a separate deal for Chukwuemeka.
The 20-year-old came through the Aston Villa academy then moved to Chelsea in 2022 for €18 million. However, since moving to Stamford Bridge, Chukwuemeka has failed to make his mark, playing only 27 games in two years.
It remains to be seen whether this deal will come to fruition before the deadline or if it is simply exploratory talks for the January transfer window.
