Manchester United are still awaiting their second major signing of the summer after landing Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Brazil international was dead set on moving to Old Trafford, with United keen to sign the proven Premier League attacker.
As such, The Red Devils signed off his £62.5 million release clause, set to be paid in 3 £20.85 instalments over two and a half years to snap up Cunha as soon as possible.
Now United have unveiled their first major summer signing, with their recruitment team turning their attention to Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford.

The 25-year-old is another proven Premier League attacker alongside Cunha, and similarly is keen for a move to Old Trafford.
Whilst Tottenham Hotspur are trying to hijack United’s transfer deal with a bid of £70 million and the lure of continuing under Thomas Frank, Spurs still don’t seem to be front runners.
The bid comes in at £10 million more than United’s reported second bid, however The Red Devils haven’t lost confidence in their aims.
The lure of Thomas Frank hasn’t worked as well as Spurs will have hoped, with Mbeumo wishing him well at his new club, saying: “He developed me as a human and as a player so much as well so I can only wish him all the best and I’m sure he’s going to do well.”
Florian Plettenberg has reported that Bryan Mbeumo has already agreed to joining United, being keen to be a part of Ruben Amorim’s ambitious project to return Manchester United to their former glory.
The report explains that a verbal agreement is in place between United and Mbeumo with an agreement with Brentford being the only thing in the way of his move to Old Trafford.
