Manchester United are as focused on outgoings as they are on new arrivals this summer

After finishing 15th in the Premier League, United and INEOS are aiming to completely overhaul the squad ahead of the new campaign.

Having already added Matheus Cunha, Brian Mbeumo, and Benjamin Sesko, the club’s next priority is to move players on in order to raise funds for a goalkeeper and a midfielder later in the window.

With no European football this season and just one game a week, United are also looking to trim the squad.

Part of this plan involves securing loan moves for young talents who have potential but are not yet ready to break into the starting XI.

United have already arranged loan moves for several youngsters, including goalkeeper Radek Vitek and midfielder Jack Moorhouse.

Now, Sheffield Wednesday have entered the picture, showing interest in two more of United’s emerging talents.

According to TalkSport, Sheffield Wednesday are now planning loan moves for both Toby Collyer and Harry Amass.

The club currently has only 16 registered players after the EFL imposed a third transfer embargo in July.

Financial difficulties have also hit Wednesday hard, with players missing wages four times since March, including three consecutive months.

These issues recently forced the club to withdraw from a behind-closed-doors friendly against Burnley.

Due to the embargo, Wednesday can only bring in players on loan this window and see Collyer and Amass as potential additions.

Amass is technically solid but needs physical development at first-team level, making a loan crucial for his progress.

Collyer is physically capable but requires regular first-team football to improve his technical skills, something United cannot currently offer.

Whether United will loan players to a club facing financial struggles remains uncertain, but game time would be invaluable for both youngsters.
