Manchester United fans have grown increasingly frustrated by the club’s sluggish activity in the summer transfer window.
Matheus Cunha remains the only significant addition to the first team so far.
While further first-team reinforcements are essential, there’s also a strong emphasis on outgoings this summer.
Departures are of the essence, in order for United to rebuild without going on to have a bloated squad.

Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof out the door has helped free up a hefty amount on the wage bill.
And while a lot of talk has been about where Rasmus Hojlund will go, there remains uncertainty over the future of Joshua Zirkzee.
According to TuttoAtalanta’s report, Atalanta have now identified Zirkzee as a main candidate to replace Mateo Retegui, who has left the club this summer.
The 24-year-old Dutchman, who dazzled during his time at Bologna but has so far failed to hit the same heights under Ruben Amorim at United, is being seriously considered for a return to Serie A.
Zirkzee recorded just 7 goals and 2 assists in almost 50 appearances last season, struggling to cement his place in the starting XI.
However, Atalanta remain keen due to his undoubted technical quality and hunger to bounce back.
A loan deal including an option to buy is currently viewed as a realistic solution.

Relations between United and Atalanta are excellent, as previously shown in the Amad Diallo and Rasmus Hojlund deals, which could smooth negotiations.
TuttoAtalanta add that club captain Marten de Roon could also influence Zirkzee’s decision, with the fellow Dutchman’s backing considered a key internal boost.
Meanwhile, Ademola Lookman is attracting serious interest from Atletico Madrid and Inter, and his departure could make Zirkzee’s arrival a priority.
With Europa League football on the horizon, Atalanta boss Ivan Juric is eager to add weight and finesse up top.
Zirkzee fits the bill on both fronts.
While no agreement is yet in place, it’s a move that would suit all parties.
One to certainly keep a close eye on in the coming weeks.
