Manchester United have officially unveiled their deadline day signing of Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp.
The talented young goalkeeper has arrived at Carrington, having completed his medical and contract signing today, now joining Ruben Amorim’s ranks.
The Belgian keeper has been keen for a move to Old Trafford, greenlighting the transfer over a month ago as revealed by CentreDevils.
Now, United have signed their new goalkeeper for a fee of £18 million (€21 million) transfer fee, plus £3.5 million (€4 million) in add-ons, with no sell-on clause included to Antwerp to benefit from a future sale.
Taking to their official site, Manchester United announced: “Manchester United is pleased to confirm that Senne Lammens has joined the club, subject to international clearance and registration. The goalkeeper has signed a contract until June 2030.”
“Lammens has already played 64 games for Royal Antwerp and helped them win the Belgian Super Cup in 2023.
“The 23-year-old, who was named in the Belgium national team squad for the first time in March, kept the most clean sheets in the Belgian Pro League last season.”
Speaking for the first time as a Manchester United player, Senne Lammens commented: “I am extremely proud to be joining Manchester United; it is a real dream come true.”
