Manchester United are still juggling their options in the transfer market as Ruben Amorim pushes for reinforcements to strengthen the squad ahead of the new campaign.
The Red Devils have already been active behind the scenes, finalising plans with the board and scouting teams to secure deals before rivals make their move.
Amorim has made it clear he wants competition in every position, and this includes between the posts where last season’s struggles were evident in some high-pressure fixtures.
United’s strategy has been to target younger players with long-term potential, ensuring the club doesn’t repeat past mistakes of short-term solutions.
Now, their attention has locked firmly onto Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens, with Fabrizio Romano revealing that the club are moving at pace to complete the signing.
It was reported that personal terms have already been agreed with the 23-year-old, who is eager to make the switch to Old Trafford.

Fabrizio Romano, via YouTube, stressed that this deal comes with consequences, as one of United’s current goalkeepers will likely be moved on this summer.
That decision will depend on how Amorim and the hierarchy assess Andre Onana’s form since arriving at the club, as well as the future of backup option Altay Bayindir.
Romano noted: “Obviously, if Senne Lammens arrives, it means that maybe one goalkeeper has to leave this summer.
“Man Utd are advancing with the Lammens deal… They want to be fast.”
Senne Lammens, currently with Royal Antwerp, is viewed as a long-term prospect and someone who could either push Onana for the starting spot or gradually transition into the number one role.
The Belgian has impressed with his composure, reflexes and distribution — qualities that fit perfectly with the way Amorim wants his side to play.
United’s desire to wrap up the transfer quickly highlights how seriously they are taking the goalkeeper situation, with fans eager to see stronger depth in a position that caused debate throughout last season.
If Lammens arrives, all eyes will be on who heads for the exit, with Bayindir the most likely casualty unless the club makes a bold call on Onana’s future.
