Manchester United have set off for their pre-season tour of the USA, with new signings Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo on board and expected to feature in the upcoming friendlies.
However, Harry Maguire will not be joining the squad just yet, as he is dealing with a personal matter, but is expected to link up with the team later in the tour.
United are keen to give new manager Ruben Amorim as much time as possible on the training ground to work with his squad ahead of what promises to be a crucial and defining season.
Despite the progress made so far in the transfer market, more signings are expected in the coming weeks, with a goalkeeper, central midfielder, and striker remaining the club’s top priorities before the Premier League campaign kicks off.

After being turned down by Hugo Ekitike and Viktor Gyokeres, who is now set to join Arsenal, United still have several names on their striker shortlist.
These names include Benjamin Sesko, Ollie Watkins, and Nicolas Jackson.
However, according to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany, via X, Ruben Amorim’s preference is to sign a striker with Premier League experience.
With a strong possibility that Sesko remains at RB Leipzig this summer, United may be forced to look elsewhere.
That could see Watkins and Jackson move up the priority list, although the club is expected to consider additional options.
United still need to make key player sales before committing to further major spending.

After signing Mbeumo and Cunha, likely to play in the two number ten roles, the striker is a crucial addition for Amorim.
Amorim is looking for a number nine who can run the channels, hold the ball up and most importantly contribute in front of goal.
The United coach will be desperate to get this striker in soon to complete his new look front line.
🚨🔴 As reported last week, Manchester United were trying to get a chance in the race for Hugo #Ekitike, but Ekitike was already clear at that stage that he wanted Liverpool. Medical today if all goes to plan.
