Now Ruben Amorim has arrived in Carrington, he’s already looking at what he’s working with with the Manchester United squad.
Amorim prefers a 3-4-3 formation which differs from United’s recent playstyle, leading Amorim and his team to consider his starting line-up.
Fabrizio Romano reported that the new coaching staff are excited to be working with Leny Yoro. The “generational talent” was signed this summer as phase one of INEOS’ new rebuild project for the club.
Now, close to recovering from injury, Yoro is keen to make his mark at Old Trafford, anticipating his competitive debut.
However, the club are also looking further afield for Amorim’s squad, with the winter transfer window on the doorstep.

Now, new reports from Spain have highlighted an interesting offer being presented to The Red Devils.
Atletico Madrid look to sign Alejandro Garnacho
Spanish outlet Fichajes has reported that Atletico Madrid have now contacted United with an offer for Alejandro Garnacho.
The offer compromises of an initial transfer fee, and a part exchange woven in too.
The initial fee offered for Garnacho is reportedly £33 million (€40 million), with the offer of midfielder Pablo Barrios thrown into the mix.
The 21-year-old is a product of Atleti’s youth academy and is starting to find his feet in the senior squad, only missing games through a muscle injury.
So far this season he’s made nine appearances with one assist, with Atletico yet to lose a game with him on the pitch.
However, since joining the senior team in 2022, Barrios has made 70 appearances with three goals and four assists.
His current value, as per Transfermarkt is £25 million (€30 million), bringing the value of Atleti’s offer to £58 million (€70 million).
The combined value of the offer is more beneficial for United, with Trasnfermarkt valuing Garnacho at £42 million (€50 million).
United are in fact considering the offer according to the Spanish report. However, The Red Devils want much closer to £50 million (€60 million) plus Barrios to begin agreeing the move.
