Manchester United are closing in on their key goalkeeper target Senne Lammens as the transfer window is coming to a close.
Throughout the summer, United have been linked with a whole host of potential goalkeeper targets as part of their summer rebuild under Ruben Amorim.
The Red Devils are looking to bounce back from last season by reinforcing the squad, however have only recruited attackers Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko, neglecting to bolster any other position.
Over the last two seasons Andre Onana has failed to provide consistency in front of goal, making questionable mistakes resulting in the opposition scoring, with Altay Bayindir struggling to establish himself as a reliable back-up.
As such, United have now been looking to Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens, facing stiff opposition in their pursuit.
Local rivals Manchester City have also been looking to Lammens as a back up to their interest in Gianluigi Donnarumma, whilst Turkish champions Galatasaray have also entered the race, pushing hard to compete with Manchester United.

Alongside them Inter Milan have also been looking to the keeper, alongside a series of unnamed French clubs.
Now, with the keen interest, The Telegraph have reported that Antwerp have increased their valuation of their star keeper to consider bids in the range of £21.6 million and £25.9 million.
This is a step up from the £17 million which was previously reported, with the Belgian side looking to cash-in on the in-demand shot-stopper.
Already Antwerp have dropped Lammens from their line-up as they prepare for life without him, a clear move that the 23-year-old is nearing the end of his time at his current club.
Lammens has reportedly already agreed terms to move to Old Trafford as he’s keen to be a part of Ruben Amorim’s project to rebuild Manchester United.
