Manchester United have missed out on yet another talented youngster as Real Madrid confirm yet another signing.
The LaLiga side recently unveiled Trent Alexander-Arnold after a £10 million move from Liverpool, however Los Blancos have now also signed one of United’s midfield targets.
The Red Devils have already missed out on Liam Delap to Chelsea, Sverre Halseth Nypan to Manchester City and Jobe Bellingham to Borussia Dortmund.
Now, Franco Mastantuono can be added to the list after he’s joined the Spanish side on a six-year contract.

Taking to their official website, Real Madrid announced: “Real Madrid C.F. would like to announce that Franco Mastantuono will join the club for the next six seasons, from 14 August 2025 to 30 June 2031.
“Mastantuono developed in the River Plate youth academy between 2019 and 2024, and was part of the first team in the 2024-2025 season. In February 2024, he became the youngest goal scorer in the history of River Plate, for which he has won an Argentine Super Cup.
“At 17, he is also the youngest player to feature in an official match for Argentina’s national team in its history.”
Despite having significant interest from across Europe, Mastantuono made it clear to all that his preference was Madrid, holding out for the LaLiga giants.
Now the attacking midfielder will be heading to the Spanish capital in a bit to help Xabi Alonso’s new side fight for another LaLiga title and in their upcoming Champions League campaign.
