Rasmus Hojlund has been one of the players currently at Manchester United linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
The belief that the striker could be on his way out has also been signified through his lack of involvement in the Red Devils’ start to the Premier League season that has seen the striker not travel for tomorrow’s game against Fulham.
But, the links away from United have not been to just one club.
Instead, they have been been to several.
Recently, it had looked like AC Milan were in the primary spot to secure the striker’s services with the Italian side recently revealing their payment structure in a deal for the Danish international.
However, most recently, fellow Italian side Napoli have become a club interested in Hojlund’s services.
The Naples based side have recently advanced their talks with Rasmus Hojlund in a bid to lure him to the club.
Now, an update has emerged on which club Hojlund may end up at come the end of the summer transfer window.
According to Italian source Corriere Dello Sport, Rasmus Hojlund has given a potential move to Napoli his approval which is seen as a significant first step in bring the Danish striker to the club.

According to the same source, Napoli are still seeking a definitive salary agreement.
Furthermore, they have also stated that the gap between his asking price and his offer currently appears to be bridgeable.
As well as this, Dello Sport have stated that the transfer fee for Manchester United has not yet been finalized.
But, as is expected, considering the incomings of Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha, the Red Devils would like to let Hojlund leave permanently or, at most, on loan with an obligation to buy.
The feeling within the Napoli camp is that Monday could be the key day to determine the outcome of the negotiations.
With this now revealed, the chances of Rasmus Hojlund joining Napoli can be said to have been increased.
But, with AC Milan still in the picture, this could be a saga that goes down to the wire.
