Gianluigi Donnarumma looks to be on his way out of Paris Saint-Germain this summer, even though the 26-year-old has one year left on his contract.
Manchester United are one of the clubs interested in the 26-year-old with the Red Devils holding talks about the prospect of the goalkeeper joining the club.
The news of Donnarumma’s potential departure has prompted the French giants into searching for replacements to fill the void that will be left by the departure of the goalkeeper.

One of the goalkeepers that PSG identified is Lucas Chevalier.
The Frenchman kept 11 clean sheets during last season’s Ligue 1 campaign.
During the season, he also made 96 saves with a 72.7% save percentage.
As well as this, the 23-year-old had a 77.1% passing accuracy with a 43.3% long ball accuracy.
These statistics attracted the interest of PSG.
Now, the French side have officially announced the signing of the goalkeeper.

In an official club statement on their website, the club stated ‘Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce it has signed Lucas Chevalier. The 23-year-old French goalkeeper, who will wear the number 30, has signed with the reigning European champions until 2030.’
PSG’s President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi commented on the goalkeeper’s move to the club in the same statement expressing that the club were ‘delighted to welcome Lucas Chevalier into our family.’

He also claimed that the Frenchman ‘is one of the leading goalkeepers in France and Europe and a fantastic addition to our team – as we continue to build everything for the long-term based on the collective.’
Lucas Chevalier also expressed his thanks towards ‘the Chairman Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Luis Campos and the coach, Luis Enrique, all his coaching staff and everyone that worked hard to get me to Paris Saint-Germain.’
The 23-year-old also said that he was ‘really delighted to be here.’
The shot-stopper will now join up with the rest of Paris Saint-Germain’s squad ahead of the 2025-26 Ligue 1 season.
