Manchester United are now receiving further interest in Alejandro Garnacho, but this time from one of their Premier League rivals.
Napoli have been clear front-runners to sign Garnacho this January, with the winger already verbally agreeing teams with the Italian club.
Antonio Conte has identified Garnacho as his perfect replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who recently left the club to join PSG.
However, as Napoli’s initial £40 million bid has been rejected, other teams are starting to circle.
United have valued the 20-year-old at £60 million, which would see Napoli use the full fee they’ve received for the Georgian winger.
The Serie A side are now deciding if they up their initial submission, or if they turn to alternative targets.
This set-back and stalling with The Azzurri has opened the door for Premier League side Chelsea to declare their interest.

Chelsea declare interest in Alejandro Garnacho
L’Equipe has reported that the London-based club are eyeing up Garnacho along with Karim Adeyemi in a bid to bring even more strength to their attack.
Chelsea have already taken Jadon Sancho on loan, a deal which went through on deadline day in the summer. Now, Enzo Maresca is looking to raid Old Trafford once more.
Whilst Sancho has been finding his feet recently, with two goals and four assists in 15 games, Chelsea have received a set back with the suspension of Mykhaylo Mudryk.
The Ukrainian his been provisionally banned from the pitch after failing a drugs test, with the FA declaring an “adverse finding”.
As such, Maresca finds himself without one of his top wingers, for what could be four years.
With Garnacho only 20 years old, he’s a long-term option for any club, setting up an interesting final few weeks of the transfer market.
