Rasmus Hojlund could be on the verge of a move away from Old Trafford this summer following weeks of speculation.

The striker, aged 22, has been one of many names currently playing for United linked with clubs across the world.

But, with the transfer window nearing its conclusion, a move away from the Red Devils will have to be finalised soon.

Recently, it looked like the Danish international could be on his way to Napoli, the current Italian champions.

The Serie A outfit previously had been offered the chance to sign the striker.

Furthermore, most recently, the Naples outfit have advanced in their talks to complete the signing of the 22-year-old.

With Hojlund also giving the move his green light, a move to Napoli may be most likely.

However, another club that have previously been interested in the striker is AC Milan.

The outfit, who also play in Serie A, have recently revealed their payment structure for the potential deal.

But, with Victor Boniface looking previously set to join the club, a potential move was arguably put into doubt.

Now, a pathway for the striker to join Roma can be said to have opened.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Victor Boniface failed to pass his medical tests in the final stages of his transfer to Milan.

Following the revealing of this news, it can be said that a pathway for Rasmus Hojlund to join Milan has opened up.

But, with the striker already giving his green light to Napoli, a move to the Naples outfit arguably seems more likely.

Either way, a move for the 22-year-old needs to be completed quickly before the transfer window’s conclusion.
