Manchester United are undergoing a crucial rebuild under Ruben Amorim, one that demands more than just smart recruitment.
Amorim is determined to reshape the culture at the club, prioritising players who will fight for the badge, give everything on the pitch and buy into his vision without complaint.
That means outgoings are just as important as incomings.
United aren’t just targeting new signings who fit Amorim’s intense, hard-working system, they’re also actively looking to offload several players to raise funds and keep the squad engaged.
Currently, five players are training away from the main group as they seek moves elsewhere, a clear sign that changes are well underway at Carrington.

Jadon Sancho has been consistently linked with a move away from Manchester United in recent years, particularly after his public fallout with Erik ten Hag.
He initially revived his form during a loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, before joining Chelsea last season on a temporary deal that included an obligation to buy.
However, following a string of mixed performances, Chelsea opted to activate a £5 million penalty clause to terminate the deal early, sending Sancho back to Old Trafford.
Now, United are once again exploring options to move the winger on.

Sancho has been most heavily linked with a move to Juventus in recent months, with the former England international agreeing terms to join the side this week.
However, according to The Sun, Nottingham Forest have now emerged as surprise contenders for his signature, as they look to replace former United winger Anthony Elanga, who has completed a move to Newcastle.
Forest are reportedly ready to take a gamble on the talented winger, who is still only 25 years old.
With both Elanga and Morgan Gibbs-White set to depart, Forest are targeting high-profile reinforcements and Jadon Sancho fits the bill.
For United, a deal with Forest would be ideal as they look to trim their squad and raise funds quickly ahead of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
