When it comes to Manchester United, Benjamin Sesko has been the focus of attention in recent days.
The Red Devils’ main transfer target for the striker position is the Slovenian.
The 22-year-old striker must decide between Newcastle United and Manchester United.
The forward and his agents have been contacted by both clubs.
Sesko is seen as a top young prospect who top clubs believe can turn into a top player in the future.
And now there has been another huge breakthrough in the transfer saga.
According to Keith Downie, known as SkySportsKeith on X, Newcastle United have made a formal bid to RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko.
The bid is €75 + €5m—which matches Leipzig’s valuation. (£65.5m + £4.3m)
Sesko is considering his situation with Manchester United at the table.
He is open to both projects.
Sesko is currently among the top young forwards in football.
He would be an excellent complement to Ruben Amorim.
This summer, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have already signed.
They are both on the USA preseason tour with the rest of the group, along with young signing Diego Leon.
With a Newcastle United bid now on the table, a move to the Red Devils may be drawing further away.
Especially after reports came out earlier today from Solevenia of Sesko appearing to choose Newcastle United.
This would be another huge blow for Ruben Amorim’s side as they miss out on yet another top target.
