It was previously reported that Isak is open to a move away from Newcastle to pursue a new challenge in his career.
Should Isak depart, Newcastle are lining up long-term target Sesko as a key option to lead their line.
Financing a deal for Sesko may prove challenging for Newcastle, but a major sale like Isak would significantly boost their budget.
United will be hoping that if they make a serious push for Benjamin Sesko, the striker chooses a move to Old Trafford over the prospect of European football with Newcastle, although are still pursuing other striking targets this summer.
