Manchester United are currently preparing for their second pre-season fixture against West Ham United, in their first game of the Premier League Summer Series US tour.
Having already drawn 0-0 in their opening fixture against Leeds, Ruben Amorim and United will be hoping for an improved performance.
After completing the signings of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, United are looking to make further additions to the squad, targeting a new striker, a goalkeeper and a midfielder.
Striker is believed to be the priority among these positions, although United are facing competition from Newcastle United.
Newcastle are also in the market for a striker, especially following the news that Alexander Isak is looking to leave the club in order to play at the highest level during the prime of his career.
This has led Newcastle to explore alternative targets as they search for a potential replacement.

The Mail Online has reported four strikers currently on Newcastle’s shortlist should Isak depart: Nicolas Jackson, Ollie Watkins, Yoane Wissa and Benjamin Sesko.
Three of these players, Watkins, Sesko and Jackson, have been heavily linked with Manchester United as they ramp up their search for a striker.
It has been reported that United are looking for a Premier League-proven forward.
While Watkins and Jackson offer different qualities, both fit the profile of a striker who could immediately improve the team.
Sesko, although not Premier League proven, is arguably the most talented striker on the shortlist.
While still raw, he possesses all the attributes to develop into a top-class forward.
However, he may be out of United’s price range.
After beating Newcastle to the signings of Mbeumo and Cunha, United will be eager not to lose out on their top striker target and will hope to move quickly for whichever option they decide to pursue.
