The Napoli midfielder’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
Although there is an option for renewal.
Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis could still look to trigger that clause.
However, Anguissa is believed to be keen on a move away from Serie A.
According to Areanapoli.it, his representatives have already made contact with several clubs, including United.
The Red Devils are expected to be active in the transfer market under Ruben Amorim this summer.

The 29-year-old has enjoyed a strong spell at Napoli since arriving in 2021.
He played a key role in their 2023 Scudetto triumph and provided consistency in midfield across both domestic and European campaigns.
In addition to interest from England, there have been links to Saudi Arabia.
As well as Ligue 1 sides Marseille and Monaco – both of whom are keeping close tabs on the Cameroonian international.
Anguissa would bring technical ability, experience and physical presence to Amorim’s midfield.
As well as the added bonus of Premier League familiarity from his previous spell at Fulham.
While there is still some distance to go before anything concrete materialises, his free-agent status could make him one of the more intriguing and affordable midfield options on the market this summer.
