Manchester United face a crucial summer ahead as their search for fresh talent intensifies.
United are planning strategic moves to bolster their squad after a dismal 2024/25 campaign.
While attention often focuses on established stars, United’s scouting network is zeroing in on promising young players who could provide long-term value and dynamism.

European clubs are also preparing for a busy transfer window, with competition fierce for the continent’s most exciting prospects.
One such talent attracting considerable interest is Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has caught the eye of top clubs across Europe, including Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
Monaco, known for selling their brightest prospects at the right moment, is reportedly ready to listen to offers this summer.
However, the club’s stance on Akliouche’s future suggests that a sale will not be straightforward.
Speaking to Get French Football News, Monaco’s sporting director Thiago Scuro made it clear the club won’t simply let the France youth international leave without conditions.
“For him to go, we have expectations,” Scuro said, emphasising that Akliouche’s talent limits the number of clubs that could realistically sign him.

“To go or to stay, both possibilities could be good for him,” he added.
Scuro revealed he has personally advised Maghnes Akliouche to think carefully about his next move.
“I’ve spoken with him – he needs to be clever with his decision.
“If he leaves, it has to be to a club that suits his playing style… the club needs to trust him.
“Needs to have similar respect, which he has here,” the sporting director explained.
Monaco’s valuation of Akliouche is believed to be around €70 million, a fee that would represent a significant investment for any club, as per Get French Football News.
For Manchester United, who have faced criticism for their handling of young talent, securing a player like Akliouche could provide a vital boost to their creative options.
As United prepare for negotiations, they will have to convince both Monaco and the player himself that Old Trafford is the right place for his next step.
Whether the Red Devils can outbid Manchester City and PSG remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: Akliouche is a prize worth fighting for.
