Manchester United are on the brink of selling Marcus Rashford this summer as the England international hsa found his new home with Barcelona.

Since returning from his loan spell with Aston Villa, Rashford has been set on joining the LaLiga giants, with his agent meeting with the club’s sporting director, Deco, to discuss a move.

It’s understood that for a while, Barcelona were only looking to Rashford as a back-up for if their plans for Luis Diaz and Nico Williams fell through, with the pair as their priority targets.

However, Diaz was previously marked as not for sale by Liverpool but is now looking likely to move to Bayern Munich, whilst Nico Williams has sworn his long-term future to Athletic Club.

As such, Barca have gone all in on Rashford, with a loan-to-buy offer being tabled today.

Hansi Flick has already given the move his approval, seeing Marcus Rashford as a strong asset for his attack given the 27-year-old’s versatility across the front line.

Now, Marca has reported that the buy option currently stands at £30 million, £10 million less than the clause that was agreed with Aston Villa’s loan.

With all of the terms for Rashford now seemingly agreed, including Barca picking up his entire salary, the England international will be preparing to head to Spain to complete his medical assessment.

Thankfully for United, this marks yet another exit on the horizon, with Jadon Sancho also closing in on a move to Juventus for around £15 million.

After the signing of Bryan Mbeumo completes, the Red Devils are in desperate need of sales to start signing other new talent, with Alejandro Garnacho and Antony also on their priority sales list.
