Manchester United have kicked off their pre-season tour with a blend of youth and experience, as Ruben Amorim looks to assess his options ahead of the new campaign.
Several youngsters were included in United’s 29-man squad against Leeds United this past weekend.
Meanwhile, others have either remained in Manchester or travelled separately as discussions over their futures continue behind the scenes.

Amorim has made it clear that game time will be crucial in the development of his emerging talents, with the club expected to sanction a number of loan moves before the end of the summer window.
Ethan Williams, 19-year-old Manchester United winger, is set to go out on loan this summer, as per Nathan Salt via X.
The expectation is that Ethan Williams will not take part in Manchester United’s American tour and will instead focus on securing a loan move away from the club, with a host of League One teams showing interest.
That follows an impressive spell at Cheltenham Town last season, where Williams stood out despite the club’s 15th place finish in League Two.

He made 17 appearances in the league, scoring twice and consistently drawing praise for his direct play and sharp footwork on the left flank.
His time at Cheltenham has prompted interest from a number of League One sides who believe the youngster can make the step up.
Amorim and his coaching staff are believed to rate Williams highly, but with the first team stacked with attacking options, a loan move would give him the minutes he needs to continue his upward trajectory.
While United are yet to make a final decision on his destination, the teenager’s absence from the US tour is seen as a clear sign that plans are accelerating.
All eyes will now be on where Ethan Williams lands next — and whether his next loan spell pushes him closer to a senior breakthrough at Manchester United.
Expectation is that Ethan Williams won’t go on the US tour and will instead focus on leaving on loan this summer.
