Talks are continuing between Manchester United and Napoli over the signing of talented youngster Alejandro Garnacho.

Antonio Conte is determined to sign the left winger as a replacement to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who’s joined PSG.

Several Napoli men have had contact with Garnacho directly including Conte himself and the Argentine’s former teammate Scott McTominay.

The Italian side are trying to negotiate a deal after their first bid of £40 million was rejected by The Red Devils.

United are holding out for bids of above £60 million, with the youngster having won the Puskas award and been nominated for the Golden Boy Award in 2024.

Manchester United to meet with Napoli and Lecce

Now, Corre dello Sport has reported that United representatives are travelling to Italy to meet with Napoli in a bid to seal the deal.

Napoli’s sporting director Giovanni Manna is reportedly playing a key part in the talks, understanding the importance Conte places on securing the 20-year-old.

However, the report explains that a representative from Lecce will also be present to discuss a deal for Patrick Dorgu who United are seeing as Garnacho’s replacement on the left-flank.

All three clubs will be hoping that deals can be finalised as soon as possible.

It’s also been reported that the United’s willingness to seal the deal with Garnacho is heavily dependant on securing Dorgu.

If the Dorgu deal can’t be completed the, Garnacho’s move to Napoli may have to wait until the summer
