The day is here. Manchester United have officially made their first signing of the Ruben Amorim era at Old Trafford with Patrick Dorgu set to move to Old Trafford.
United have finally agreed terms with Lecce to sign the left-winger after having several bids rejected over the recent weeks.
Earlier today, Gianluca Di Marzio reported that the fee for the deal stood at £24 million (€30 million) plus £6.3 million (€7 million).
However, this was actively being denied by Fabrizio Romano who commented on several posts referencing the source saying the full fee is lower than that being reported by Di Marzio.
No, Romano has revealed the true figure. The journalist reported that the deal has been made for £25 million (€30 million) plus £4 million (€5 million), coming to a total value of £29 million (€35 million).
It’s understood that personal terms have already been agreed between United and Patrick Dorgu, with a five-year contract ready to be signed.
All that’s left for the deal to get across the line is to sign all the paperwork and for Dorgu to fly to Carrington to complete his medical assessment.
