Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United appears increasingly uncertain as the January transfer window gathers momentum.
The England international is reportedly seeking a fresh start after expressing his desire for a new challenge last month.
Earning £300,000 per week, Rashford’s wages have proven a stumbling block for potential suitors.
However, United are eager to offload the 26-year-old, with manager Ruben Amorim approving his departure to fund new signings.
After a bright start under Amorim, where he scored three goals in two matches, Rashford has struggled for minutes.
The relationship between player and manager became fractured, paving the way for a potential exit.
Now, in a surprising twist, a Premier League rival has reportedly made contact regarding a possible deal for Rashford.

According to Italian journalist Massimo Marianella, Manchester United have been approached about a transfer by Arsenal.
The Gunners, who are battling their own attacking inconsistencies, are said to be exploring the possibility of signing Rashford in the current window.
Speaking to Sport Witness, Marianella said: “It seems that Arsenal have contacted Manchester United about Rashford.
“The club values him at £25m.”
Arsenal’s valuation of £25 million is significantly less than United’s internal valuation.
Still, the Red Devils might be tempted to accept, given the financial relief of shedding Rashford’s hefty wages.
United must now weigh the risks of strengthening a domestic rival against the pressing need to resolve their wage concerns.
While Arsenal are hopeful, Rashford’s potential move to AC Milan remains on the table, offering an alternative to avoid reinforcing a fellow Premier League contender.
Tottenham remain interested in the 27-year-old, as reported earlier.
It will certainly come as a shock if Rashford departs, only to remain in the Premier League.
