Manchester United are ready to add firepower to their attack this summer with the addition of a £60m-rated forward, according to reports.

Ruben Amorim’s side have lacked goals this season, scoring just 42 so far this season in the Premier League.

Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee arrived in 2023 and 2024, respectively, for big fees, but have just seven league goals between them.

And United could be ready to part ways with the Danish forward, with reports from Italy suggesting Juventus will look to complete a Serie A return for the player this summer.

Matheus Cunha, as widely reported, is expected to make the switch from Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer.

The Brazilian has a £60m release clause, and negotiations over personal terms are well underway.

And according to The Telegraph, United will again look to the Premier League to add another new face to their attack, with Bryan Mbuemo under consideration.

The report states that United are ready to join the race for the Brentford winger, with the French forward bearing a £60m price tag.

Newcastle United also hold a strong interest in the player, while Liverpool and Arsenal have been linked in previous windows.

Mbuemo has enjoyed a very productive season, scoring 18 Premier League goals for Brentford, while supplying six assists.

A rapid dribbler with a ruthless finishing streak, Mbuemo has established himself as one of the league’s most dangerous wingers, and would add a certified goal threat to United’s ranks.

Primarily right-sided, the Frenchman could provide competition for Amad Diallo, who scored on his return today for Manchester United.

The Ivorian was injured in February, but is now expected to play a part in United’s remaining matches.
