Ruben Amorim has no time to waste this summer, with Manchester United expected to undergo a major reshuffle ahead of the new campaign.
While the Red Devils have already secured Matheus Cunha to reinforce their forward line, further additions and pre-season surprises are expected.
The club continues to pursue Bryan Mbeumo, although negotiations with Brentford have proven slow, despite optimism over the deal eventually being struck.

In the meantime, United have also snapped up Enzo Kana-Biyik as a developmental option, reinforcing the long-term rebuild spearheaded by Ineos.
But now, one move that slipped under the radar is about to become official.
Manchester United’s long-awaited signing of Diego Leon will finally be completed on July 1, with the highly-rated Paraguayan youngster set to link up with his new teammates.
Diego Leon was signed back in the January transfer window from Cerro Porteno, where he had already impressed in the Copa Libertadores and in Paraguay’s youth ranks.
Although just 17 at the time of the deal, United were convinced of his quality and offered him a five-year contract.

Since then, Leon has remained with his former club due to transfer and registration timelines, but he is now expected to arrive at Old Trafford just as the new season officially kicks off.
According to Adriano Savalli via X, the Paraguayan will land in Manchester on July 1 — the same day club accounts reset and the 2025/26 cycle begins.
The timing could not be better for the talented teenager, who is being seen internally as a serious competitor for the left wing-back slot under Amorim.
While Patrick Dorgu is still raw and Harry Amass continues to show promise, Leon brings flair and experience from South America’s biggest competition and has drawn comparisons to Marcelo for his dynamic style.
United’s coaching staff are said to be excited about his arrival, with Leon expected to feature heavily in pre-season to earn a shot at a first-team role.
He may be young, but the Red Devils believe they’ve unearthed a gem — and July 1 could mark the beginning of his Premier League journey.
