Deadline Day is always a frantic time, with clubs racing to complete last-minute deals.
Manchester United will likely be no different, as Ruben Amorim looks to make his mark.
Patrick Dorgu was Ruben Amorim’s first major signing at Old Trafford.
The Dane’s arrival strengthens United’s left-back options, which have been a concern.
However, another player could join before tonight’s 11 pm transfer deadline.
United have been linked with Bayern Munich youngster Mathys Tel (Sky Sports Germany).
But he’s not the only name under consideration at Old Trafford.

According to Florian Plettenberg, United are in talks to sign Leon Bailey from Aston Villa.
The Jamaica international has made 20 league appearances, scoring once with two assists.
He has mostly been used off the bench this season under Unai Emery.

A transfer of Christopher #Nkunku is also not completely off the table.

United’s hierarchy have reportedly held talks, though other options remain.
Bailey joined Villa in 2021 for £25m and has played 137 games for the club.
His future is now uncertain due to Villa’s recent transfer activity.
A move for Bailey would see United strengthen their attacking options.
It would also coincide with the Marcus Rashford move to Aston Villa.
The United academy graduate has been frozen out by Amorim in recent months.
He has agreed a loan move to Villa until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Villa will cover 70% of his wages and have a £40m buy option (Sky Sports Germany).
Bailey’s arrival could be seen as an upgrade on Rashford in certain areas.
Journalist Bence Bocsak has described the Jamaican winger as “incredible.”
🇯🇲 Leon Bailey is going really under the radar this season.
He’s averaging the most goal contributions in the Premier League (1.35 per 90) – more than Erling Haaland (1.34).
Such an incredible journey to get to the Premier League – brilliant to see him scoring important goals… pic.twitter.com/tmhMCcQkEZ

Bailey has registered more progressive carries and passes per 90 than Marcus Rashford.
He also completes more successful take-ons, showcasing his dribbling ability.
His presence could provide the attacking quality Amorim has been seeking.
Villa’s recent signings may pave the way for Bailey’s exit before the deadline.
A potential move could be the perfect replacement for Rashford at Old Trafford.
