Manchester United’s struggles in front of goal this season have been glaring.
They currently sit 15th in the Premier League, with a squad in much need of a refresh.
The Red Devils have managed just 30 league goals in 26 matches.
Only Southampton, Ipswich Town, Leicester City, and Everton have scored fewer.
Rasmus Hojlund is losing trust among United’s coaching staff after a long goal drought.
Ruben Amorim has even placed the Danish striker ‘on trial’ in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, Joshua Zirkzee has impressed but is not an out-and-out No.9.
United need a reliable goalscorer, and Victor Osimhen could be their solution.
Reports in Nigeria claim Osimhen’s move to Old Trafford is “95 per cent complete.”
United are reportedly prepared to pay his €75m (£62m) release clause, as per BusinessDayNG.
The 26-year-old is expected to leave Napoli permanently this summer.
Antonio Conte banished him from first-team training last year, forcing an exit.
Osimhen is currently on loan at Galatasaray, where he has been in superb form.
He has scored 20 goals and provided five assists in 25 appearances this season.
Jose Mourinho has even labelled him “world-class.”
Bigger issues lie ahead for Red Devils despite Victor Osimhen arrival
Despite Napoli’s interest in Alejandro Garnacho, United are not including players in the deal.
However, they could still face competition from PSG, Chelsea, and Saudi clubs.
Man United’s attack has been a major weakness this season, making a striker a top priority.
The potential arrival of Victor Osimhen would be a statement signing under Ruben Amorim.
But signing a top striker alone won’t fix United’s deeper attacking issues.
The team lacks fluidity, rhythm, and creativity to generate high-quality chances.
Unless those problems are addressed, even Osimhen may struggle to thrive.
However, he would certainly help take the goalscoring burden off Hojlund and Zirkzee.
