This summer, Manchester United made significant moves to restructure their squad, as a number of players left and a number of newcomers joined Old Trafford.
With the exception of Tyrell Malacia, the whole “bomb squad” has left this summer.
Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and unofficial “bomb squad” member Rasmus Hojlund are on season-long loans, while Alejandro Garnacho and Antony are leaving permanently.
These forwards have been replaced with Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo, and Matheus Cunha to reconstruct their front three.
All three signings have settled right in so far, with Mbeumo already winning the player of the month award.
Aside from the first team, the new INEOS sporting project will also focus on the youth.
This is evident with the loan outgoings of Harry Amass, Toby Collyer, and Ethan Williams and more.
There were also eight players who left this summer after their contracts ran out.
Now, one of these has confirmed their move for this upcoming season.

Enterprise National League North Marine FC have officially signed defender James Nolan from Manchester United.
North Marine FC are based in Liverpool, Crosby, Merseyside, and were founded in 1894.
After graduating from Carrington’s youth programme and making his professional debut at Stockport County in the Carabao Cup, the 19-year-old signed a contract with the Red Devils in 2023.
He was on loan with Inverness Caledonian Thistle in Scotland for the season last year.
Nolan can play anywhere around the back line, but his favourite position is right back.
On signing for Marine, James said, “I’m absolutely delighted to join Marine. I spoke to the gaffer before joining and he told me his ambitions for the season, and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.
“It’s a great group of lads and they’ve all made me feel very welcome. I want to come in and help the team out by putting crosses in the box, getting forward and, fingers crossed, some goals and assists.
“I think as a group we know where we want to get to and I can’t wait to get going on Saturday in front of the fans.”
Manager Bobby Grant said, “I’m delighted to have James Nolan sign for the football club. He definitely brings in the quality we are looking for and makes the team stronger.”
