Manchester City have had a busy transfer window, both in their men’s and women’s sides.
In the men’s side, they have recruited six players.
Among the names signed is James Trafford from Burnley and Rayan Cherki from Olympique Lyon.
Furthermore, they have seen Jack Grealish depart the club on a loan deal.
As well as this, James McAtee has joined Nottingham Forest from the multi-time Premier League winners.
In the women’s side, the Citizens have signed new names as they aim to climb the Women’s Super League in the upcoming season.
Now, it seems the side have found a new target, one in Manchester United colours.
According to Times Sport, Manchester City are interested in signing United midfielder Grace Clinton.

The English international played 21 times in the WSL last season.
She was also a feature in England’s Euro 2025 success earlier this year.
Following the final, United released a statement congratulating Clinton and the Lionesses squad.
Furthermore, she scored eight goals and had an average FotMob rating of 7.57.
The 22-year-old had previously been at Tottenham Hotspur between 2023 and 2024 on a loan basis.
But, since returning to United last year, she has made 28 appearances.
In this time, she also scored nine times.
Grace Clinton can also play in a defensive midfield, attacking midfield, and right winger position, making her versatile.
If City were to sign the Manchester United midfielder, the Red Devils would be losing a player who has a high amount of potential.
Furthermore, United would be losing a key member of their squad.
But, with the transfer window for Women’s Super League sides closing soon, the negotiations between the two clubs will have to be quick and efficient if the deal is to go through.
What is for sure is that nothing is set in stone yet.
With this in mind, it will arguably be interesting to see how this deal progresses in the coming week.
