In a run of signings Manchester United are missing out on ahead of the summer transfer window, another has now been added to the list with Manchester City beating them to the post.
First was Rosenborg’s Sverre Halseth Nypan, the attacking midfielder labelled “the next Martin Odegaard”.
Nypan has been on United’s radar since last summer, however he decided to stay put with Rosenborg in the winter transfer window.
Whilst Nypan is now looking likely to join the Premier League in the summer, it’s with Aston Villa instead of United as he’s put The Villains at the top of his priority list.
Next came Franco Mastantuono who has rejected all his prospective suitors in a move to stay at River Plate and wait for Real Madrid to come knocking.
And now Mahamadou Sangare can be added to the list.

Manchester United miss out on Mahamadou Sangare
Centre Devils revealed two weeks ago that United were keeping tabs on the young striker showing real promise in PSG’s academy.
However, Fabrizio Romano has now given his famous “here we go” as the French star is headed to Manchester City.
A verbal agreement is reportedly in place with a medical set to be undertaken ahead of the move to the City academy.
Sangare was one of three players in the PSG academy that United are keeping tabs on, including Oumar Camara and Axel Tape.
Now, the three will be cut short to two as United have missed out on yet another impressive young talent.
However all is not lost, with Enzo Kana-Biyik, the Le Havre striker on his way to Old Trafford today to complete a medical ahead of his move to United.
