Kobbie Mainoo is just one of many names who has successfully come through the Manchester United academy.
Since breaking into the first time in 2022, the midfielder has made 72 appearances.
Furthermore, he has scored seven times.
In this time, he has served under many managers including Erik Ten Hag and most recently, Ruben Amorim.
As well as his time at United, the 20-year-old has also featured for England, where he has picked up ten caps.
But, following 25 appearances in the Premier League last season, Mainoo has not made an appearance this season.
Earlier in the transfer window, Chelsea had enquired about a move about Kobbie Mainoo.
However, with these links disappearing, it looked likely Mainoo would stay at Old Trafford this summer.
But, recently, it was revealed that the 20-year-old and Bruno Fernandes were in competition for a starting place.
Furthermore, on Monday morning, it was revealed the midfielder would consider would consider leaving United if an suitable offer was received.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Mainoo’s situation at United as the transfer window nears its conclusion.

With this now revealed, it appears that Mainoo is still committed to his duties at Old Trafford.
But, with a week of this summer’s transfer window remaining, there is still time for this to change.
However, considering the midfielder has come through the United academy, his commitment to the Red Devils is arguably high.
Now, attention will turn towards whether Mainoo plays in Manchester United’s upcoming game against Grimsby Town.
If he does play, then arguably, he will be more likely to stay at United.
But, nothing can be said for sure just yet.
