Manchester United have been just dealt a huge blow in the pursuit of one of their top attacking targets this January.

The Red Devils are desperate for some firepower, currently lacking a clinical finish in front of goal.

With Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee as the only strikers at the club, United are lacking a world-class goal scorer in their squad.

So far this transfer season, United have been linked with Victor Osimhen, Randal Kolo Muani and Jonathan David. However, their key target now looks set to be heading to Juventus instead.

Juventus agree terms with Randal Kolo Muani

Fabrizio Romano has reported that The Old Lady are on the brink of sealing the deal with PSG to sign Randal Kolo Muani.

The report explains that a verbal agreement is nearly complete, with the decision then sitting with the striker himself.

It’s understood that the deal in question is a loan offer to see Kolo Muani move to Italy until June, with Juve beating both United and Tottenham Hotspur to the France international’s signature.

An exit was looking more and more likely with Kolo Muani being dropped from Luis Enrique’s squad this weekend when PSG beat St Etienne 2-1.

Now, it appears the transfer race is in the final stretch with United missing out, yet to sell or loan any of their squad.

Until this happens, United are unable to secure any new signings, with the club having no transfer budget this month.
