Juventus have been linked with a move for current Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho for many weeks as the Serie A outfit look to improve their squad ahead of the 2025-26 season.

The Italian side had previously submitted a formal bid for the winger but Sancho’s personal terms were a key barrier to the deal successfully taking place.

The Englishman was a part of Ruben Amorim’s infamous ‘bomb squad’ which included names such as Marcus Rashford and Antony which was set up to give the players time to explore alternative moves.

However, with AS Roma also interested in the Englishman, it looks as if The Old Lady have made contact for an alternative option to the United star.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus have made contact to be informed on Lille player Edon Zhegrova as an option for the final weeks of the window.

The 26-year-old played 12 times last season.

In these 12 games, he scored four times and assisted once with an average FotMob rating of 7.10.

These statistics mean that Zhegrova scored once every three games last season which can be said to have attracted the interest of The Old Lady.

However, Juventus are not the only club interested in the right winger with Olympique Marseille being the other club that are linked with the Kosovo international.

Marseille are said to be in advanced talks for a deal for the winger which was revealed by Romano.

With the French side interested in advanced talks for Edon Zhegrova, the chances of him signing for Juventus can be said to be low making a move for Jadon Sancho more likely.

If The Old Lady were to sign Sancho, he would be playing in Serie A for the first time in his career.

Furthermore, it would be arguably interesting to see how the Englishman performs both in comparison to other players and to his spell at Manchester United.
