Manchester United are undergoing a significant transformation in their transfer strategy, focusing on acquiring young talents with high potential.

This shift is evident in their recent signings, such as French defender Leny Yoro from Lille and Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna, both of whom are under 24 and have shown considerable promise in their respective leagues.

The club’s leadership, including Sir Jim Ratcliffe and manager Ruben Amorim, emphasize the importance of proactive recruitment and early integration of new players into the squad.

This approach aims to build a sustainable and competitive team for the future, moving away from previous patterns of last-minute signings and over-reliance on established stars.

United’s commitment to nurturing young talent is further demonstrated by their interest in emerging prospects across Europe, aligning with their long-term vision for success.

In line with this youth-centric recruitment policy, Manchester United have recently turned their attention to a promising Serbian midfielder, Ognjen Ugresic from Partizan Belgrade, as per The SunThe Sun.

Ognjen Ugresic, who recently made his first Serbian Super League start in April and scored his debut goal in a 3-1 victory over Radnicki Nis, has drawn comparisons to Jude Bellingham and Paul Pogba due to his exceptional technique, vision, and intelligence on the field.

The Red Devils have reportedly sent a letter of intent to Partizan, expressing their interest in closely monitoring Ugresic’s development.

His agent, Ostoja Stjepanovic, confirmed that several major European clubs, including teams from Serie A, have made inquiries about the young midfielder.

However, Stjepanovic believes it’s too early for Ugresic to leave Partizan, emphasizing the importance of continued development under current coach Srdan Blagojevic.

As United continue to revamp their squad with an eye on the future, signings like Ugresic represent the embodiment of their renewed focus on building from the ground up.
