Manchester United’s pre-season tour has been anything but quiet.

With major decisions involving star players, including shock omissions and high-profile exits, the Red Devils are being forced back into the transfer market with urgency.

Alejandro Garnacho’s absence from the club’s American tour has sparked speculation about his future, while Marcus Rashford’s sudden move to Barcelona has left a massive void on the flanks.

United boss Ruben Amorim is eager to reshape the attack ahead of the new Premier League campaign, and reinforcements are now a top priority.

And now, Old Trafford’s gaze has shifted back to Serie A – more specifically, Bologna.

Swiss winger Dan Ndoye is back on Manchester United’s radar, with the club reigniting their long-standing interest in the 24-year-old.

Dan Ndoye, who recently suffered a minor ankle sprain during a friendly against Virtus Verona, has been sidelined during Bologna’s training sessions.

Despite his current injury, the winger remains a hot commodity in the transfer market.

Nottingham Forest had a €30 million plus €5 million bonus bid knocked back, with Bologna valuing the player closer to €50 million.

Forest, however, have boosted their financial power after the €60 million sale of Anthony Elanga to Newcastle United and are reportedly preparing an improved €40 million offer.

But United are in the mix.

Following Rashford’s departure and Garnacho’s uncertain status, reports in England suggest the Red Devils are preparing a bid between €40–45 million for Ndoye.

There’s even talk that Joshua Zirkzee, now a United player, has already made contact with his former teammate, reviving a light-hearted pact made between them back in May, as per  il Resto del Carlino.

United aren’t the only club eyeing Bologna’s talent – Napoli were previously interested in Ndoye and could also return with a move for Garnacho.

With United desperate to rebuild their wide options, a swoop for Ndoye could be next – especially if Garnacho’s exit becomes reality.
