Javier Hernandez was a key name at Manchester United during the closing stages of the Sir Alex Ferguson era.
During his time at Old Trafford, the striker made 157 appearances and scored 59 times during those appearances.
Furthermore, he was able to play a key role in the 2010-11 Premier League success that saw the Red Devils win their 19th Premier League title, a new record.
In this season, he scored 13 times including in a crucial clash with Chelsea that United won 2-1 to leave themselves one point away from the title.
However, in 2015, following five years at Old Trafford, the former Mexican international left United.
In his time away from United, the 37-year-old has played in several countries and at several clubs.
One of these is USA outfit LA Galaxy where he made 82 appearances and scored 39 goals across three years.
Then, a year after his spell at Galaxy, the striker joined his former side Chivas.
Whilst with Chivas, the striker has made 35 appearances and scored three times.
But, events off the field have arguably dominated some of his time at the club with the striker having to apologise for sexist comments in July.
Furthermore, the 37-year-old has faced consistent minutes limited at Chivas leading to Hernández announcing that he will likely leave the club for a second time in his career at the end of the Liga MX Apertura in December.
Now, he has hinted at a return to England following his departure.
According to Viva Liga MX, reports are suggesting that Javier Hernandez is open to a move to the EFL Championship.
If he was to return to England via the EFL Championship, Hernandez could join a number of clubs.
But, nothing can be said for sure until he leaves Chivas in December.
